The library provides access to a host of online databases for users. The following are selected few online databases accessible through the library network.

Health Internetwork Access to Research Initiative (HINARI-www.who/hinari.com)                                                                  
HINARI provides access to one of the world’s largest biomedical and health literature collections. Up to 21,000 journals, up to 69,000 e-books, and up to 115 other information resources are available on HINARI to registered institutions in low and middle income countries.

African Journal Online (AJOL – www.ajol.com):  is the world’s largest and preeminent platform of African-published scholarly journal. AJOL hosts about 633 journals including 362 Open Access Journals. The site has 17055 issues containing 210017 abstracts with 203656 full text articles for downloading.

Free Medical Journal                                                                                                              
Free Medical Journal provides access to 5088journals sorted by subject, language and title, as well as highlighting free journals with high impact factors.

Currently, it contains over 10,000 open access journals covering all areas of Science, Technology, Medicine, Social Science and Humanities.

Google scholar is a free accessible web search engine that indexes the full text or metadata of scholarly literature across an array of publishing formats and disciplines.

Pubmed
                                                                                                                           
PubMed comprises more than 28 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, Life Science Journals, and Online books. Citations may include links to full text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.

Popline                                                                                                                              
Popline provides access to 380,000 carefully selected publications and resources related to family planning and reproductive health.
